東山駅から徒歩5分、お寺の近く竹林豊かな小高い丘の上にこの家はあります。
縄のれんをくぐるとお手水鉢があり、玄関を入るとお茶室を彷彿させる2帖の和室が迎えてくれます。
ラウンジで庭木を眺めながらほっとひといきくつろぐことができます。
ＬＤＫは区切らずひと部屋に、勾配天井で解放感を感じることができます。
ダイニングにある大きな地窓から見える石積みは隣家の石垣を借景としました。
宿泊施設としても使用できるように洗面所とトイレは2つずつ設けています。
北の大きな和室には炉が切ってあり、ここでお茶会を開き愉しんで欲しいと思っています。


This house is located on top of a small hill near a temple with a rich bamboo grove, 5-minute walk from Higashiyama Station.
After passing through a rope curtain, you will see a small water bowl, and upon entering the front door, you will be greeted by a 2 square meter Japanese-style room reminiscent of a tea ceremony room.
The lounge is a perfect place to relax and unwind while enjoying the view of the garden trees.
The LDK is a single room, and the sloping ceiling gives the room a sense of freedom.
The large ground window in the dining room provides a view of the stone wall of the neighbor's house.
Two washrooms and two toilets are provided so that the room can be used as an accommodation.
The large Japanese-style room to the north is equipped with a furnace, and we hope that guests will enjoy holding tea ceremonies here.
