東山駅から徒歩5分、細い路地を入っていったところにこの家はあります。
床面積11.47坪の平屋という一般的には狭いとされる条件の中、プランニングから竣工まで楽しくて仕方のないお家でした。
上から見た家の形は台形で東面の壁が斜めになっています。
変形であることが室内から見ると良いアクセントになっています。
地窓から見る借景はお隣さんの石積みです。
お庭は京都の渡邊庭店さんにお願いしました。
緻密な美しい職人技と選び抜かれた植栽が住まう人の目と心を愉しませてくれます。


This house is located a five-minute walk from Higashiyama Station, through a narrow alley.
A one-story house with a floor area of 37.92㎡, generally considered small, but it was a fun house to work on from planning to completion.
The shape of the house seen from above is trapezoidal, with a slanted wall on the east face.
The deformation of the house is a good effect when seen from the indoors.
The borrowed scenery seen from the ground window is the neighbor's masonry.
The garden was designed by Watanabe Garden Shop in Kyoto.
The beautiful and meticulous craftsmanship and well-selected plants are a delight to the eyes and minds of the residents.
