閑静な住宅街の一画にあり、北側が前面道路で東南西面は隣家に接するという敷地でした。
南側に大きな庭をとることも考えましたが、それでは閉鎖的な空間になってしまうため、抜けのある北側をメインの庭としました。
それでも南からの日射は1階の引違い窓と、2階の大きな引違い窓から吹抜けをを介してたっぷりとLDKに降りそそぎ家全体を明るくしてくれます。
2階のフリースペースには子供たちが読書や勉強ができるように造り付けの机と本棚を設けました。
在宅勤務の多い旦那様の書斎は小さいながらも扉を閉めればプライベート空間になり、お仕事もはかどることでしょう。
もともと南のお庭に植わっていた木を活かし、リビングの窓から見えるように設計しました。
南と北の庭を通して光と風が抜けるようなプランで、年中気持ちよい生活を過ごしていただけると思います。


The site is located in a quiet residential area, with the road on the north side and neighboring houses on the east, south, and west sides.
We considered having a large garden on the south side of the house, but that would have made the space closed off, so we decided to use the north side, which has a clear view, as the main garden.
Even so, plenty of sunlight from the south into the LDK through the sliding windows on the first floor and the large sliding windows on the second floor through the atrium, brightening the entire house.
The free space on the second floor has a built-in desk and bookshelves for the children to read and study.
The small study room for the father, who often works in a home, that is small, but when the door is closed, it becomes a private space where he can get more done.
The tree that was originally planted in the south garden was made use of and designed so that it can be seen from the living room window.
The plan allows light and air to flow through the south and north yards, so that the residents can enjoy a pleasant life all year round.
